We are Andrew and Kara Lathrop, a husband and wife team who work together to photograph an event or subject from two angles. We shoot in a photojournalistic style, the emphasis being on catching the event, not creating it. One of the reasons we love to shoot weddings together is because it allows us to capture as much of the event as possible. We look for the unique moments and the behind-the-scenes action. That is not to say that we don't do portraits. We do, we just don't focus on them, and we like to keep our portrait sessions as fun and natural as possible. Our favorite photos from our wedding are the ones that we had no idea were even taken, and we hope that our clients say the same thing about their photos.
